This lesson was adapted from a lesson plan from NAfME for Grade 1 for use during Music In Schools month. It focuses on music, culture, and the concept of ethnomusicology techniques. It can be adapted for use with other grade levels. HOW TO PLAY Students can use the questions on the card to interview a partner, then share what they've discovered with a larger group or the class. The questions can also be used by the students to interview their family members. In addition to responding to the questions within a discussion/share format, students can video-record their responses. For older students, the lesson can be extended by having the students edit the lesson and adding cards and then importing the video clips to create a story. Another option is to have students send the video clips to the large display using Snowflake Remote for import into one of the MultiTeach Tools apps.
